Conditional

Sometimes we would like to add conditional statements to our reports.

These can be used to display a certain section or phrase depending on a value in the job.

If we wanted to display a special message depending on the value of the make field, we could do something like this:

When the report is rendered, it would look like this:

Note

If the value for make was not “Audi”, then this phrase would not be shown. We can use conditional statements to show or hide whole sections of the report if choose to.
